Would anyone be interested in a knitted bag swap?
I'm thinking that the bag could be any design as long as it is knitted...
If anyone else wants to do this, I would try to organize.
Signups maybe in Dec sometime and then send out mid/late-Jan after the holiday craft rush?

I could do this just so long as we are looking at late January.

I'm new to this all but I would love to do this...the only slight problem is that my knitting skills aren't so good Embarrassed ..could I crotchet instead? But I just read the rules and found out that I can't participate in a swap until I've been a member for a month so plz pl wait to start until December 10th at least..Thanks!  Grin

Ok, so what if we make it a knitted/crocheted bag swap? Maybe that will give us twice as many people. And I won't even start sign ups until early January. That way we can get all of the holiday events and other swaps finished before starting on this one.

sounds totally great! i had a pattern (well my pattern which i created Roll Eyes ) to knit a bag, and i have one in hand unused waiting for to be embellished, or even i can make another one with another pattern as long as it is knitted and simple to understand and not involved with felting (it is very hard to find 100% wool).. so i am definetely be in.... i am glad that dates are after december hopefully i will be at home on late december.. Smiley

hmm another thing...it would be great if we can describe the type of the bag we can use and we can never use, so this way people wouldnt ended up with a bag which they will never use Roll Eyes
