OMG.  I think the yarn I used for mine is too bulky.  Yours all have a lovely drape that mine doesn't.  Oh dear...I think I'm going to have to unravel it. Looks like it wasn't 5th time lucky for this yarn!!!

Hi everyone! I found this shrug pattern and knitalong last night. I knit all night on the shrug, and finished it at 3AM! The yarn is Lobster Pot Bulky, and handspun from My Paper Crane. It didn't drape right with the pin at the neck, so I added buttons on the bottom part. I pull the buttons through the stitches, because I didn't add buttonholes. The knitting is loose enough that the buttons fit right through.

Thanks for posting the pattern Julsey!

That is such a good variation! I really like it with the buttons, kind've reminds me of Glampyre's minisweater.

Thanks! It seemed like a good candidate for the yarns I had been saving. It reminds me of Glampyre's minisweater too, and I keep calling it a shrug even though it's supposed to be a capelet.

circs here. Always circs whenever possible. So much more comfortable. You dont have to move your arms as much.

Also, I did long tail co too. Looks so much nicer!

Oooh...found this pattern on Monday, found this KAL tonight, rolled all the change in my change jar for yarn money and I'm going out to the LYS tomorrow right after class.

It's been a few weeks since I've found something I really wanted to knit.  Thanks, Julsey723, for posting such a gorgeous pattern.

I agree!

Btw, I have tried this and ripped it out soooo many times... I am so frustrated with this yarn. I am going to my LYS to find a better yarn now that my paycheque has come in... haha, to buy butter, milk and bread or glorious yarn... I will always choose the yarn... Roll Eyes
