I started one in fur and I am struggling. I cant see my stitches so if I am interrupted I lose my place and cant seem to knit back because I cant see my stitches. Any suggestions for someone who doesnt work with fur well?

Put the fur with another strand. Makes it a little easier to see the stchs.

This pattern is great, and I like crnaofca's take even better! Here's mine, following her version:

Now I kind of want to try theresa24's version with cables Smiley It's awesome how versatile this pattern is!

wow when i first started my capalet, there was only the regular pattern....here i am still not done, and there are some wonderful takes on it!  karenology that looks awesome!  i really like the stitches you used Smiley  i can see how easy it is to modify this to your own liking Smiley

i'm using moda dea cache in the smartie colorway.  i'm sure by the time i'm finished i'll have used just under 4 balls Smiley  all i have left is one sleeve then the seaming and the wearing!

Thanks Smiley The pattern alterations are not mine, but crnaofca's, and I edited the post to make sure that's clear.

I love the colorway in your yarn! Is that glitter? It's gonna look mahvelous.

hehe naw its not glitter.....its actually a thin strand of gold tinsel-type substance that's wound with the yarn Smiley  it's a little scratchy, but looks so cool Cheesy

I should have been more specific. My fur is with a second strand of cotton and I still find I lose track and cant see my stitches to see where I am at in the project. Any sugestions would be appreciated.

I finished mine today! It took me about six hours of actual knitting (and about 18 hours of sleeping, eating, driving, showering, etc.) Sooo....

Tadaaa! Pre-blocking, because I was so excited, but I love it already!
