Just finished swatching to get gauge (got it on the second try! Woo!) and worked out how many stitches to add to make it my size. Will cast on later today!

Note: Have found a pattern error!

In the first row of raglan increases, the amount of stitches referred to adds up to 50, where the cast on amount was only 49. I fixed this by doing a 'p15' in the middle section of the raglan increases instead of 'p16', which evens up the stitch count with the amount cast on. Am I making sense? I hope I am.

I'm inspired! I've been lurking for a while but I think I just have to do this one.
It might get me over my disappointment on the OSW - I'm just too booby to wear it with style.

Hey guys - Emms, thanks so much for the props, and the KAL (I see we are both Family Guy fans!) As you happy knitters may know, I am NOT (yet?) a designer, so pattern errors happen - especially when it's the 2nd nite in a row that I'm up till 2am...why Huh

I corrected the pattern on the completed projects thread.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions, or post a comment on my blog (I spent the past 30 minutes trying to post an image on the header...sigh)

Good luck and happy knitting!

-Julsey

I'm starting tomorrow, but have a quick knitting question - can I increase the size by knitting with a larger gauge?

I'm the opposite - thinking of a smaller gauge like a worsted. i have about 3 and half balls of Noro Silk Garden which I thought to use.

I cast on last night and did exactly the same thing!  Also, I'm more comfortable doing YOs on a K row, so I'm K-ing the Ps and P-ing the Ks!!

Hope to finish this one really fast as I'm bed bound recovering from surgery.  Cry

On the day I bought 2 skeins of a dreamy/fluffy pink yarn this pattern came along. I'm going to take it as a sign that this must be knit immediately. Why else would a spur of the moment purchase suddenly have the perfect pattern for it appear? Never question the knitting gods, simply fear them and their wrath.
