I'm not a llama, but I've kissed an alpaca!

Hi! I want to open an artists' co-operative. We'd divide the bills, put in a predetermined number of work hours each month and have a board to vote on matters for discussion. For a fairly low amount of money / time commitment, your work would be on display in a professionally-run space that YOU have a say in, and we could all benefit from group publicity, etc. The space would be open to both art and handcrafted items (handknits, jewelry...), and would be in a retail district with good foot traffic - I have my eye on some spaces now, and will be talking to landlords this week.

If you're interested, drop me an email, and when we've got a decent number of people, we can get together to discuss in person. This would not only be a good business proposal, but also a lot of fun, given the right people!

Wow... it's been a while since you've posted this! Is it still in the works? I'd love to hear more about it.
