You must have knit too tight, because with that yarn I made two different sweaters and used 10.5's and my sweaters came out a good size, more on the loose side and I'm no Nicole Richie. But you look like you didn't do as many increase rows...that's probably why. I had 14 on the first one and 12 on the second. Still...it looks nice, and comfy. I LOVE Homespun!

That could definitely be why fenifer's is too small; with this type of sweater you keep increasing until it fits. The pattern was written for a medium, so there would be quite a few less increases than for a larger size.

I'm starting mine tomorrow! The sale at Michaels prompted me to buy a bunch of creamy alpaca, I can't wait to get it on the needles!  Grin

Dammit! That sale at Michaels reeled me in too! I'm glad I found this thread, because the blog where this is posted has incorrect stitch counts and I tried it twice before I just gave up on it.

Don't you hate it when people fill up their signature with random junk you could care less about reading but when you see how long it is you figure it has to be important so you keep reading but it's not worth your time and you just wasted a whole minute reading absolutely nothing at all? I do.
