A belt I made from japanese candy wrappers and clear packing tape.

No sewing involved! Smiley

Hah, what a cute idea. I bought like..30 little boxes of candy with that kitty on them when I went to Japan, thank goodness I kept all the boxes because I thought they were cute..now I can make a belt too!

Yup, clear tape on both sides!

I used velcro this time, though I'm working on another belt now using grommets and a buckle. It's a mite fancier.

I love your belt!!My friend is OBSESSED with anything japanese and i think ill make her one for x-mas! But since I dont live anywhere near japan, i think ill use old anime comics instead, since they'res no where to buy japanese candy in my area

P.s What does the buckle look like, could you post more pics?

Thanks Smiley

There's actually no buckle on it. I just attached some velcro for the closure.
