arrmatie, get thee to a publisher, show them your work, and write a knitting book already!  Your stuff is so unusual and cool!  How did you keep the squid body from flopping over?  Does it stay up like that itself?

Glad you like the hat, bbonnn.  I was worried, seeing as it's not really very practical.

determinedimprovisa tion: I'm not that fast a knitter.  I was actually almost a week late sending. 

ax174: more easily said than done.  I'm going to start selling patterns on my site as soon as I get the whole shopping cart thing figured out.  The squid and GI  patterns are going to remain freebies, though.

I got a wondermous package from skitterflex on Saturday!  It had a crocheted squids and squid stickers in it!  I am the swap loser with no camera but I will try to steal the one here at work and take some!!  I love the squids- I had to put them on top of the TV so the cat wouldn't attack them!  Oh, and one is pink and one is white with pink trim- they are the BEST.  Thank you, Skitterflex!

Oh, grasshopper, your presents make me smile every time I see them, all posed for a picture in the living room... But despite having dug my digi out of the pile of crap that I call my "room", it is all for naught because I'm out of batteries!!!!!  Hopefully I can justify buying batteries as a good distraction to my studying tommorow and get these wonderful squidlicious projects into the limelight they deserve!

a better view of the cephalapod adorned box and the squid shawl/bag pin.  I'm making the urban outfitters shrug for myself at the moment (well it is onhold for after christmas) but i'll totally wear the squid pin with it at some point , you know, when I'm feeling squidy.

I have to hide the bag, my roommate seriously wants to steal it.
