My boyfriend has been knitting since he was five. He actually taught me a lot of what I know about knitting and crocheting, and I find it VERY sexy. lol

Grab a copy of knit.1 magazine... I think it might be by Vogue but (don't shoot me) I could be wrong.  The most recent issue *I* have (which may well not be THE most recent issue, but is recent) has "boys" knitting as a focus.  Older than 6, of course, but there are some manly projects and links in there that he might like.

This is a very interesting thread to read, I didn't know a lot of these historical details.  Certainly I have read/heard of men knitting before... the first knitting "star" that I ever heard of was Kaffe Fasset (a male), and he has many books and I think even TV shows on his knitting.
