That's a very original idea. I always wondered what to do with all those readers digest books laying around the house.

Thanks,

I know this was posted months ago but I am in complete love with these.
This are the best handmade journals I have ever seen. And all those different types of paper!
It is amazing.

That looks like an awsome begining to a traveling journal (you know, mail it to one person then that person passes it on) maybe if it were a little smaller to ease up on postage. They look awsome. I wish I had that many types of paper heh.

Wow. Those are awesome. I think they are the coolest thing craftwise I've seen in a while. I'm been trying to get into knitting, but I've always been something of a bibiophile... so I think these have inspired me to focus crafting urges into something that I have more interest in. Thanks!

Karen, tell Jesus to take the gerbil babies! They're Christians!

Oh, so gorgeous! You know, I'd be eternally grateful if you'd tell us a bit more - perhaps that diagram you mentioned - should you ever have the time! You are very talented, you know.

That's just gorgeous!
and it's nice to see the Reader's Digest getting repurposed into something beautiful. at the library where I used to work, we always discouraged people from donating reader's digest books and threw them away if someone did. it's really too sad, considering people like you might have put those unwanted books to good use...
