My partner received her package and said her internet is spotty so I could post pics. I can never seem to get her username right, something like misseammees (?)
I sent her my favorite book In the Skin of a Lion by Michael Ondaatje. His writing is so beautiful, it's like reading poetry and I love how it's set in my home town of Toronto. I figured it was a book and author that an American might never hear of otherwise. I got her package first and she sent me such a nice hardcover book and mine wasn't in great condition, so I added another. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, but Mark Haddon (I think).
Here are my crafts:
I knit a book cover for the book- and other paperbacks. It wraps right around and it has a wave motif to go with the built in fish bookmark. I also added a bookworm bookmark.
This has really been a great swap!

I got my package from littlenecy today. Prepare to be shocked. THANK YOU!!! This is officially the best swap package I think I have ever received. First off, there were the two (yes, two) books:

Home From the Vinyl Cafe, by Stuart McLean, and Bergdorf Blondes, by Plum Sykes. I LOVE Stuart McLean. He is hilarious. I shrieked when I saw the first story was "Dave Cooks the Turkey" - and so well-timed, too! (For those of you who don't know, Stuart McLean is a writer who reads his stories on a CBC radio show called the Vinyl Cafe. Check it out: I think he's on Sundays at noon on Radio One.) And I've seen Bergdorf Blondes in stores and thought it looked interesting but I wasn't sure, so this is perfect.
But that's not all.

From left to right: a package of tissues for when I cry when I read, a bar of Godiva! chocolate 'just because', and a CD entitled "Music to Read By". The playlist:

Cannonball - Damien Rice
Run - Snow Patrol
Good Riddance - Green Day
Where is My Mind - The Pixies
Asleep - The Smiths
Bittersweet Symphony - The Verve
Fast Into You - Mazzy Star
Fast Car - Tracy Chapman
The Reason - Hoobastank
Mad World - Gary Jules
In The Waiting Line - Zero 7
Black - Pearl Jam
Don't Know Why - Norah Jones
Careless Memories - Duran Duran
Nice Dream - Radiohead
Let Go - Frou Frou

It's a wonderful mix of songs I love, and ones I've never heard of before but I'm sure I'll like. By the way, littlenecy, have you ever heard the Garden State soundtrack? Because I'm guessing either you have or, if you haven't, that you would love it.
But that's still not all.

It's a felt-appliqued journal for recording the books I read, with lots of reading and library-related quotes inside. Also a "simple" (her words, not mine!) bookmark of denim and buttons.

Thank you so much, littlenecy. You are an amazing swapper.

Gorgeous bookmarks! The little guy reminds me a bit of dobby from Harry Potter. Maybe because I've been watching Chamber of Secrets today.  Cheesy
