Here it is!  I used the Naturespun too, and it's still my favorite felting yarn.  I also left off the last stripe repeat, and as soon as I felted it I wished I'd left it on!  But it was my first time felting, and I didn't realize how much it would shrink... it was huge when I finished knitting it.  I've been wanting to make another one for some time now... I think I'll start a new one as soon as I'm finished with my holiday knitting.

so cute! i love this bag... i'm kind of wary of felting as all my attempts have not come out great (i think this was due to the yarn i was using) but you have inspired me Wink

Nice job!  I've been wanting to make Suki for a long time - I even have the yarn!

It's the black, grey, and fuscia Wool of the Andes from KnitPicks.  I haven't decided which colors to use for which stripes - any suggestions??  I'm not going to add the fringe at the top.

Unrelated: The green yarn in the background is Andean Silk (also from KP) for the Hourglass Sweater (which will be my first sweater...someday).

Why, thank you!  Cheesy  Felting is one of my favorite activities (that sounded a little weird, but you know what I mean), and I really think you should try it again.  Brown Sheep Naturespun is my all-time favorite yarn to felt with... I've also used Lamb's Pride (which I personally find too hairy), Cascade 220 (which doesn't felt tightly enough for my taste... no matter how many times I send it through the wash I can still see my stitch definition), and Kureyon (which I haven't had great results with, so far).  But definitely try felting again!  It's great fun.

Oooh, I love your colors crabby!  I think you should do the body of the bag in grey, and the stripes in pink and black.

That green yarn is also fabulous.  That sweater is going to be gorgeous!

I would vote black for the background, with grey and pink stripes, because I think framing the pink with black bars would really make it pop.  However, I'm rather biased towards black as a base color.  Cheesy
