I just got home from the post office. Drum roll please.........

$2.49! Phew!

I absolutely love the woman who works at my post office. I always end up getting served by her. Today, she did the slot test (and I passed) and then she put it on the scale, waited a moment and said "The anticpation is killing you, isn't it?"

And then I had a question, unrelated to this package but to one that I'll be sending shortly, and she said "Questions? Today they are free!" and I said "But it's the answer that'll cost me, right?" and then she got a giant smile and said "Hey! That's a good one - I'll have to remember that!"

Anyway. My point is, she's adorable and I love her. And I managed to outsmart Canada Post.  Grin

Thanks everyone for keeping me well-informed! Things are going really well, I am sure we will have a flake-free swap, how sweet is that?  And this is awesome how low the postage has been!

Amifer, sounds like you have a lovely postal clerk! You can borrow my button that says, "Have you hugged your postal clerk today?"  Smiley

I'm done and will ship tonight or tomorrow (late due to this dang cold, I have just been going to work and coming home and lying on the couch feeling sorry for myself). I hope I pass the slot test.  Everything fits okay at first but then if they shift around there's a large lump in one corner.  I will have to get creative and tie things in place somehow.

It must be that!   Wink Regardless, thanks everyone for making this swap so easy to organize!

BTW, I was going to wait and update everyone's feedback at the same time when the swap is done, but if anyone needs their feedback updated earlier (for example, if this is your first swap and your partner has received and you're waiting on feedback to join another one) just let me know.

Well, I sent today (phew! I don't feel so delinquent now!) and it was $2.49.  I was pretty worried that it would be too thick to go as lettermail, since it was pretty thick and knobbly in parts, but we managed to wrassle it through the slot.   Grin

UPDATE 29/05: I did another update on the front page, everyone has sent, woowoo! Let me know if anything is incorrect!
