I know, not exactly cheap, but I used 100% wool, and had to buy enough to play around with, plus lining, hair canvas (interfacing), and the nifty leather button.
 ...inspired by a bolero style jacket in September's edition of Lucky magazine

Wow, Im assuming you made the pattern yourself. It looks fantastic. If you told me youd bought it in a store Id believe it. Your whole outfit looks great. BTW, did you knit that scarf? Its also superp.

I wouldn't worry about paying $40 for your jacket.  At least you didn't pay $430  Cheesy.  That's the whole point about a being crafty.  Making something that looks designer without the price tag Cheesy
