I so wanted to participate in another challenge, that as soon as I saw this one in the NEWS, I started right away. My inspiration was those Japanese pillows of a stuffed man's work shirt. So why not do something similar.

First I took A pair of jeans that kinda had some sentimentality to them (The were my first purchase of clothing at the neighboring Goodwill, when they first opened. I had worn them so much, that eventually the button on the fly came off & in typical DIY fashion. I used a shoelace to create a lace-up fly, instead of the usual button & Zipper. And, unfortunately, I've hadn't worn them since), cut off the knees (the spare fabric would serve me later) & with embroidery  floss, I sewed up at first were I cut it off .

Once I was done with that I moved to the fly, where the stuffing could leak out. To prevent that, I took the scrap jean material,
Cut a square of it in the right size, & sewed it to the back of the fly.

Then came the stuffing, (which is not really how I do pillows, but...) a mixture of polyfil & more scrap fabric I had laying around. once I had the pillow to the right "fluffiness", I sewed it up with more embroidery floss.

With this as the final result:

P.S. I obviously didn't take any pics of the jeans before hand, (I do it all the time, get so wrapped up in a project & getting it completed) so don't hold it against me.

One could never have enough pillows like that. Strong and comfy at the same time.
Great job!
