Hey you should tell your mom that the lids are very easy to remove and put back.
maybe you can convince her to have a decorated lid on special occasions?

I'm in the process of making a lid covered in feathers next.
And the one after that is going to be either a border of plastic mini babies or disco ball mirror squares.

there's really no limit to the stuff you can put on a lid.

You could go to the hardware store or target or wherever and buy a cheap plain toilet lid, and decorate it.  Then ask your mom about using it for special occasions - that way you aren't 'ruining' her lid

Wow. Maybe I should just illicitly steal our toilet seat and decorate it and put it back on. See if she notices. There is a good chance it would make it a few days at least until she sees a difference.
