I was really grumpy tonight and starting to get fed up with crafting in general, so I wanted to do something that was just for me.  I decided on a cute little toy to inspire me, and thus was born Cherry the Cheer-up...Thing.  I put cherries on the front because I just like them.  On the back I was going to embroider "You Do Not Suck" to inspire me, but that's a lot of words.  So I used less words and cheated by using buttons for some of the letters.  I'm very, very lazy.  It worked, though.  I laughed so hard at how funny she looked when she was finished that I think I'm done being grumpy now.  Her legs are crooked, and her side is all weird (my new sewing machine hasn't arrived yet!) but she's my weird little crooked thing.

I love it!

I'm sorta in that mood tonight, too. I need something for me. I hate sewing that way-ugly bag for my mom (it's covered in dogs). Hmmm...

I must go searching my supplies!

It's so cute, and it definately put a smile on my face! I'm busy studying for end of year exams at the moment and so anything which makes me smile is fantastic. Thank you very much!

Thank you all so much!  Haylie, I actually did put a smile on her at first...but it didn't seem to fit her personality.

Apparently my daughters liked her a lot, too.  As soon as they woke up this morning they ran off with her and started fighting over her.  So I must make two more of them, but without the buttons so they're baby-safe.
