I think I'll have been a member long enough by the time signups are closed to join this.

Just one question though, I'm Canadian and I don't think we have "gallon size" bags (we're on metric, not imperial)....can someone give me the measurements so I can find the equivalent size?

Thanks Smiley  I have tons of odds and ends to get rid of

A gallon size bag is 27 x 28 cm.

I've been stalking the swaps board for one to join and this one sounds like fun....

I'm guessing we pack as much as we can into the gallon bags right?

You're right you pack in as much as you can.

For any of you that are worried about shipping costs. Here are some simple ways to keep your costs low:

1) use a flat rate shipping envelope (you may want to get this first, so you can see how much you can fit in it.)

2) try not to put bulky items in (they take up a lot of space and may not fit in a flat rate envelope.)

3) make sure not to put in weighty items (the envelope may not be able to take it.)

4) be generous with the packing tape (this ensures that your package gets to your partner in one piece.)

I'm toying with the idea of passing out partners early, because I'm sure a lot of people will sign up last minute.
