I had a really cute poop bag dispenser (Michael Graves at Target) but I lost it...it made me grouchy to spend another $8 so I made my own. I like my version better cause I can use bags on a roll or grocery bags, and there's room for my keys. The pic is sideways (I seem to have a problem in that area) but anyway...here it is...the Poop bag Cozy:

I want to get a red, bone shaped carabiner for it...
I cut a little slit in the side for easy poop bag dispensing...(the silver bag sticking out)

What are the dimensions of your cozy? Is it just like a skinny hat?  Do you "load" it through the slit? This is a really fabbo idea! I want to make one for all of my doggie nephews and nieces!

It's exactly like a skinny hat. I made it on a knifty knitter, using the smallest size and felted it. Then I cut the slit the width of the poop bag roll, stitched it a bit and added the patch and carabiner. I embroidered the patch by drawing a simple cartoon of my dog and pinning it to the fabric, and using a roll of duct tape as a hoop. It was definitely a spur of the moment project! But I use it every day and it's much nicer than sticking all that stuff in my pockets!
