I found this recipe on www.piratenun.com/diy/index
in it's winter 2003 issue, the DIY section. but I hear that Pirate Nun will no longer be updated.
What you need:
+ Rice Dream Chocolate "milk" (or soy milk would work too)
+ non-dairy powdered chai mix (available at your local health food store, or I got mine from Border's bookstore)
+ a blender
Recipe (for one serving):
+ add 2 cups of ice
+ add 5 ounces of Rice Dream
+ add 1 1/2 scoops of powedered chai
+ blend for approximately 30 seconds or until the ice is about slush consistency
+ pour into your favorite glass and enjoy!
These are seriously really really good. Even if you are a lucky folk who can process dairy, do yourself a favor and try this tasty and healthy alternative! Just watch out for those brain-freeze headaches.
