the tent is made from the simplicity pattern #9004, the pattern was only a couple bucks at walmart, and instead of using basketweaving spline for the poles i used 1/2 inch plumbers tubing stuff - its more study for my crazy kitties!

this will be my kitties first christmas so they need special stockings! i made the pattern up for this - milos has blue sewn trim and cleo's has red. i will be adding their names as a machine embroidered patch!

The Christmas stocking is really cute and I can't believe you made the tent! That is so inventive and those darn things are always so expensive. Looks like your kitty loves it- great job!

thanks! i love my little kitties, they have so much stuff - the next bed that  i'm making is a giant fish  bed that they'll have to crawl into the mouth to get inside! its pictured on the simplicity pattern envelope with the tent!

Adorable!

How big are the tents? I'd like to make one for my kitty but he's sort of big-ish.

I was thinking of trying the fish bed because I saw pics, but I don't have the pattern.  does it seem very difficult?  Do you need any special equipment besides a sewing machine?  You have to post a pic if you make it!!
