OK so, I saw this painting in Amsterdam in a shop, but the shop owner wouldn't let me buy it.  So I decided I'd take a picture of it and copy it when I got home.  Yes, I have no respect for artistic license, I know, but I WOULD HAVE bought it and I tried to contact the original artist but his email didn't work..so yah... before you go all thinking that I am very artistic and creative, I just wanted you to know that I copied it...

My question though, is this: Do you think it needs a frame?  I was pretty happy with the way it is right now, with no frame...http://www.louisedaniels.com/buddha-final.jpg

It's very nice. It looks great now, I don't think it'd look right with a frame.

That's beautiful. If I had the talent I'd copy it too!

No frame is my vote!

Beautiful!  At the risk of sounding repetitive, I like it without the frame!

Ohhhhhhhhhh you don't wanna know, they are dirty guerrilla tactics...

I printed the photo at wal mart and then photocopied the photo on a transparency, and then I took it to school, and traced it all from the overhead projector onto the canvas...

That is so awesome, I would kill to be able to do something as awesome as that.  That would look so awesome in my room, too.  I think it looks best without a frame.

Very cool...I adore the colours...& a frame would just detract from the flow of it.

I Love the way that you painted the sides of the canvas...nice touch!!   Wink
Its probably allows the painting to look good from any angle in the room minus the white edges.
Looks great against the yellow wall also!

I agree with, well, everyone else.  No Frame.  Plus, the sides look so cool as they are and a frame would hide that.  I love how bright it is.  This may be a dumb question, but what kind of paints did you use?
