Some little character my friend uses as sort of trademark on all of his drawings.

That's spiffy. I'm thinking about trying my hand at a bit of intarsia.

I binded off after I took the photo , it was just a practise really , I could make it into a zipper pouch  .

I want to make a hat with this design , but I read its hard to do intarsia in the round so i think ill just adapt the ' hot head' pattern in S n B.

I tried looking at online instrustions and they just didnt make sense at all , so I just figured when i got to the white part  I would bring the yarn in  like you would if you were doing stripes.

Its proberly not the correct way of doing it , but to me it just seemed the easiest thing to try and do , and it worked quite well.

I couldnt find any really simple instructions online , so practising a small simple chart would be ideal , also i didnt weave the backs in , I just carried the yarns over so the back looks awful  , next time ill weave them in to make it neater or add a felt patch at the back.

Just give it a go , its really not as complicated as those online instructions make it to be ....lol
