I'm a big fan of 20s/30s/40s circus and sideshow lore and also of HBO's "Carnivale" so when my friend gave me this cool legal folder to alter (the company she works for makes them) I decided to paste all the goodies I had collected over the years into it.   It's a work in progress, but here's what I have so far...

Oh my gosh.. I love it! I especially like the kewpie.. I just love those little guys, My grandma always had an old kewpie primer in her living room that I used to spend hours reading whenever I went to visit as a child- when my daughter was born she gave it to me........ anyway, kind of off the subject-sorry. You did a fantastic job and I am super envious of your collection

I'm not sure - but thanks for passing the info along!  The last couple I have seen have been on Gibtown - I'll have to check that one out on the web - It would be great to find a new documentary I haven't seen yet!

hi.
your book is super cool. I love oldtimey sideshow things and i can't believe they cancelled Carnivale!
We're having a sideshow swap if you'd be interested in participating. Just search side show.
