This is a journal I just made for my neighbor's sixth birthday.  I wanted to make something simple and pretty since she's a very girly little girl.   I learned book binding a few weeks ago and this was my first successful journal.  It's covered in a blue floral fabric with Friendly Plastic hearts on the front.  As an aside, Friendly Plastic is the coolest material to work with, and I think everyone should experiment with it.  So so so fun!

I never heard of Friendly Plastic, but I think your journal is gorgeous!
