Where can you find wool felt? I've never seen it. Online maybe?

It's not a 100% wool felt (I think it's ~ 70% wool) but it has a much nicer feel to it.  Believe it or not, I first spotted some at Walmart!  They had a pack of fat quarters (4 different colors) on clearance for $5.00.  I've also bought some at my local Jo Ann's Superstore for ~ $7 or $8 a yard.

After reviewing everyone's surveys many times, I think I've come up with partners that everyone should be happy with.

Oh, jumping up and down for joy!  Wanted everyone to be my partner, LOL.  Each person here does some special unique wonderful work.  Don't you love it?

Am thrilled to be paired with lynnidings here in Match II.  (BTW, lynnidings, if my hello pm did not get through - got the site down for maintenance message-) let me know and will resend it.  Wink  Looking through all my blue rovings and batt and having a gay ol time.

I second what teamwang said about the participants being a terrific bunch of crafters Smiley  I'm psyched about this swap and I'm glad that Jungrrl is my partner Cheesy

Reading everybody's surveys, I found it amazing the range of different people who have signed up for this swap. At first I was worried that I wouldn't have any people on a similar wavelength to pair up!

Truly, it was a privilege to be able to read everyone's surveys. You all seem like such interesting creative people! Cant wait to see what you all send each other Smiley

Although for this swap I did try pair up people who were at least a little similar, I'm thinking it might be interesting to organise a different swap where pairings were intentionally made of people who are as different as possible.

So pleased you took on the organization and we are getting into a Match II felt swap.  It was so much fun to follow Match I, even though was not able to participate.

It will be interesting to see what we come up with for each other coming from somewhat similar styles, tastes.   Even though similar, it will take care and thought to come up with truely special and unique works to trade.

It would also be challenging to try making something for someone of quite different styles/tastes.  That is a great idea for another round.  Am hoping there will be lots.  I really do want everyone on the list for a partner at some point.   Shocked  Just cannot work fast enough to manage it all at once.

If we have enough Matches we will each have sufficient diverse works that we can each collate a felty fiber art show Grin
