okay guys, here's my dilemma.... the professor for my silkscreening processes class has the ability to separate an image into very fine diagonal (hatched) lines and can even separate a CKMY image into 4 separate printed layers for printing. I just got adobe photoshop cs and i cannot for the freaking life of me figure out how to print an image with the hatching. i have gone into the print preview window and have selected "color management" and "separations" as the tutorial on the adobe website says, but it is not giving me hatched lines as in shows it should. my profs computer has a completely different number of print options on the print screen and i learned that way and can't seem to figure my version out because it is different....

i need the hatching because solid fields of color or pixelization don't allow for enough detail...

any help i can get would be very much appreciated!

i dont know about that one... I havent got into the photoshop seperating yet.. I have a book that I bought from amazon that tells all about photoshop silk screening.. I dont know if you have that one, but you may want to give it a try.. CS2 is the latest so maybe its just a case of making the right toolbar appear...
