Can't believe it's November already.  I'm in the US (Ohio).
I would love...

1.  Something to carry (e.g., purse, bag, zip pouch, that sort of thing) with an image of Rosie the Riveter or Nancy Drew.  I love them!

2.  A purse or bag reconstructed from something that was never intended to be turned into a purse or bag.  Like a necktie bag, or a book purse, or whatever else you're thinking.  Thankyouthankyoutha nkyou, kind stranger!

3.  Something with kitschy (or just interesting) food images.  I'm vegetarian, and photographs of thick, juicy steaks aren't appealing--but crocheted steak = hilarious.  Jell-O salads, ugly ham casseroles, desserts made with too much Cool-Whip...  And I laughed until I cried when I see those Weight Watchers recipe cards with the commentaries.  I also like the sushi stuff on the ongoing swap.
Wall art?  Bag?  Throw pillow?  Whatever your brain thinks up & your hands can make!
Woo-hoo!  I'm so excited!  Thanks, whoever you are!

I really like dark, earthy, and bright colors.  Not generally a pastel fan, although they have their place.  I like retro and things that are odd, offbeat, and/or generally surprising (could you tell?)--although my style of dress tends to be plain ol' "functional" most of the time, so most styles will match me on some day of the week.  Super-girly stuff doesn't feel right, and I'm not a fan of leather.  I'd like to take bags, etc., to work (so nothing overtly sexual, please).

And if you haven't seen those Weight Watchers recipes yet, then you haven't yet lived.  http://www.candyboots.com/wwcards.html

This is really exciting... I'm off the market on the 6th of the month!  I really set myself up for a couple of surprises on this one, and I can't wait to see what a couple creative craftsters dream up--and then to show it all to everyone!  Thank you!

I live in Illinois, USA.  My two wishes are:

1 - A cassette notebook (like this: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=6883.0 ).  My cassette preferences are country, '60s bands, or old musical soundtracks; I prefer nothing sexy/edgy, please.  As compared to the pics in the thread, I would prefer plain, smoothly-cut paper as opposed to the artsy/torn edge look, if possible.
THANK YOU, seaofstars, for the wonderful presents!

2 - Anything!.  The month is nearly out, and I'd love to be picked again.  A surprise craft, "craft crap" leftover supplies, anything would be fun.  I'd be tickled to receive a second package for November.

About me: I'm 27, single, conservative.  I love renaissance faires, creative writing, and drawing/painting.  I like to wear any shade of brown, olive green, forest green, gray-blue, and burgundy.  I love strong peppermint flavor and scent.  I have long hair and like hair jewelry.  I don't go for bright colors or sexy/edgy stuff, but I love anything simple/elegant or historical.

Ahhh! I had it all written out and my comp locked... Here's the short version Wink

1.  A big mesh type back to carry my boxes to the post office.  This kind looks great(http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=52863.0) because it would expand to fit all the random shaped swap packages!  I always have my hands full when I go, with my daughter, my pocketbook and boxes!

2.  I am a sew-er, and I really need a pincushion!  Any sort is great, but I'm embarrassed to admit that I onlyl have one of those ugly magnetic ones, and I hate it!  I've seen the work you craftsters do... help me out Smiley Thank you, thank you thank you thank you THANK YOU!

3.  I love this headband http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=36027.0 !  I can imagine myself wearing it daily, but maybe in a more muted color for everyday use, like black, brown, white, or cream... <--Thank you!  Whoever you are you're FABULOUS.

I'm 24 and live in Las Vegas with my husband and daughter.  I love cats, chihuahuas, poker.  I grew up on a farm and like cattle and pigs and chickens and farm machinery... I had so much more but if you have any ?s PM me!  I have had a blast making and recieving for this swap these last two months!  Can't wait to look through all the lists!

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box

Hi!

I'm in Anchorage, AK USA

My Wishes:

#1: Kitty ears hat - I live in a cold place and have to wear a hat all winter long. I have thick hair and big head so it will need to be stretchy. YAY! Thanks so much...I can hardly wait to get it!!!

#2: Pocket Shrine...any theme will do! I love them!

#3: Bumble Bee stuff for my kitchen. Yup, I have a bumble bee theme...Some ideas: bumble bee potholders, cabinet nobs, towels etc.

More about me:

I love most colors. I have a purple themed bathroom, a rainbow themed living room, a bumble-bee themed kitchen and a shabby-chic/retro-asian themed bedroom. I wear fall colors like teal, eggplant, rust, brown, grey, black and red A LOT. I can't wait!

I live in Portland, Oregon

My three wishes:

1.  Surprise me!

2.  A shirt!  I love things that have been embroidered on by hand or stitched with a sewing machine.  the outline of a camera would be excellent and i would be forever grateful!  Any old shirt from the thrift store will work, polo, tank, button up, sweater, v-neck.....i'm easy!  I'm a size medium.

3.  anything to help keep me warm this winter!  scarf, mittens, hat....whatever your specialty is! I'd prefer it to be green, or something multicolored and whimsical.  bright colors, no pastels.  Thank you Kasie for the great scarf

I am truly open to your creativity and style...just the fact that it's handmade by someone makes it special!  These are just some specifics in case you wanted something more to go off of.

A little about me:  I am 29, a photographer, I love all things equine, and all things quirky.  I don't own a single pink item of clothing and i tend to wear a lot of black and grey.  My favorite colors are green, bright blues, reds, and of course all the neutrals.  Not a fan of pastels!  I like classic looking styles with a hint of funky/quirky thrown in. At the moment I am obsessed with typewriters, maps and alpacas! (they make the best yummy soft yarn :-)

THANK YOU GUYS SOOO MUCH!!! I feel so loved Grin
I'm in Santa Cruz, CA, USA
1. Something made with felt. I think felt and felted stuff is so cool, but since I don't sew I can't really make anything with it. I'd really like something sewn or needle felted ( fulling or washing knitting till it felts or -glueing felt to something- I do myself and it would be fun to get something I can't make) I loved EVERYTHING in the felt swap gallery. Thank you so much!!!!
2- My apartment is COLD at night. It's been getting to the low 50's in the house. Something to put in my bed to keep me warm would be wonderful. Like something filled with beans I can microwave (something cute would be great) or a decorated water bottle.
3- Some jewellry would be awesome. I'd especially like something 1. with images ie stamps or resin stuff (actually not glass marble stuff  though, cause I make those and have made way too much for myself), 2. with vintage charms or 3. a wrist cuff style bracelet (not knitted or chrocheted). I have lots of great bracelets but I don't wear them to work cause they're too dangly and I work with my hands in a lab and wear gloves. I do have a beaded cuff though and I do wear that to work, so I was thinking something else like that might be fun. No too punk or goth-like for the wrist-cuff- since this is for work.

About me: 27 year old grad student who spends way too much time on craftster at my desk, instead of where I should be- at my bench doing experiments. I love all animals and animal motifs. Owls and all birds, wild bears, forest animals, cats etc.. Nature stuff and city artsy stuff too. I love all colors, but probably bright ones over pastels, but earthy ones are great too especially for a nature theme. I also prefer off colors to primaries- ie turquiose over navy blue. I love any old, vintage, retro looking stuff and patterns- but I really like modern stuff too. I love old vintagy stuff like adds ie- fruit crate labels and pin ups. I love when prissy crafts are mixes with racy stuff ie an embroidered pin up- I think that really represents what us awesome craftsters are up to. And I love food stuff.. sushi, meat, sweet stufff- probably cause I love food!
