Did you make a day of the dead shrine or altar?  If so, post a pic.. I would love to see it!!!!

I made a little one on my coffee table. The candle holder that the lit candle is on belonged to a friend who recently passed, and the day of the dead goodies are things I have collected from different cities in Mexico and  from San Diego. The other stuff is just random crafty stuff I made that I thought looked good there too.

We had a party and built a massive altar. These pictures do the altar little justice. It was glowing and beautiful. We also baked Pan de Muerto.

we didn't do anything specific this year as i am sort of laid up from a fall down some stairs.  Sad however, we have calacas, milagros, religious iconography and the like all over the house all year 'round.

hopefully next year we'll be able to do something a bit more substantial.

livineasy: your altar!! it's just absolutely the bees knees! Shocked
