This is my first tutorial & being new to crochet there might be a few mistakes. Stick with me though & hopefully by the end you'll have yo'self a Monkey friend to protect your ipod (nano) from the evil scratchy things in your backpack/purse. If'n you notice any glaring stuff-ups on my behalf, pls send your tips my way, as said I am very green still.

Here goes.....
Body: Start with a foundation chain of 10 stiches, sc into 8th chain then sc into each stich until you get to the end. Ch 2 and continue to sc into each of the stiches on the othe side of your foundation chain. If you want you can join your rounds (i didn't know when I made them & it doesn't seem too important) or just continue sc-ing until you have a long enough sock to cover your ipod.

Ears: Ch 2, 4sc in 1st ch, ch1 turn, 2 sc in each sc (change colour) ch1 turn, 2 sc in each sc.

Muzzle: Ch6, sc in 5th chain, sc in each until end, ch 1, sc in each ch along other side of foundation chain (like for the body. 2sc in each sc, change colour, 2sc in each sc. (if you want a muzzlier (Huh) muzzle, on the last round do 1 sc in each sc).

Attach pieces to sock, add eyes & voila. Can't wait to see other peoples monkeys.

Oooo, those are really great!  Thanks for the how to.  Curious, what yarn did you use, I really like the colors.  I think I'll start one tonight!  Cheesy
