i was bored so i made this:

it's probably going to go to my sister's friend since her birthday is on monday.

now i need to think of something to do for sister

***EDIT***
so after quite a few people asked for a color chart for the hat above, i finally got around to posting it.

so here it is:

and heres the hat in action, worn by the recipient:

HALF-PATTERN
the hat was pretty basic, just use all dc stitches on the top portion until you get it the right size
ohhh and you might want to make it a tad bigger because i first made it like a regular beanie
and it came out too small and it's not cause i have a big head
then the first row of the color chart calls for all sc stitches
and then after youre done with the color chart you might want to make a few extra rows
i finshed it off with a white trim done in the hdc stitch
very easy and didn't take me too long to make it
it only took me a while to redo it becuase i had made it too small

i've been real busy with things that i finally got time at 2am ! to get this on here
&& on my birthday !! so feel special

enjoy ! and if you do try it post pictures please

How did you make this? A tutorial?  It is amazing, and I know a couple people who would love it.

That is so cool!  my friend would kill for one of those! Is that tapestry crochet or did you just keep changing colors?
