I have a sore heel so I havent been able to do much, and I am so not a tv watcher..I got this fabric from a thrift shop 6 yards for a 1.99. Its a handprinted batik type upholstery weight fabric. The frame and box were made with some leftover batting an empty tide box and an old pair of fat pants ..The box holds index cards and all of its a gift for my hippy friend Anna. Im going to put some quick recipes in it cause the girl needs cooking help. It was all made with under a yard of fabric. The bag is meant for a quick run to the market. And the frame can be used standing up or on its side, and both of them smell like the febreeze tide * bonus *

I love it!!! Could you possibly post a tutorial for the recepie box? Did you sew it or use glue? I need to make one of those for my friend for Christmas! Very clever! It's amazing the things you can get done when you don't watch television...

That assortment of crafts is OFF the retro-meter!  Grin
What variety, and with less than a yard of fabric. That's some killer recycling; your friend is lucky to have a crafty buddy like you  Smiley
