I have a sewing machine, and I know how to use it

I actually live in Wisconsin, Dubuque is only 15 minutes away, and I'm fairly new to this area.  So far, the only places I have found to buy yarn are Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Jo Anns, and Wal-Mart.  Are there any LYS's in this area?  I do know Hertha in Manchester, but she is 75 miles away.

Hey!
I don't knit, I do crochet though Smiley I live in Dubuque, I would check Ewe Need Yarn! Some of the yarn can be a bit pricey, but it would save you gas money and you used to be able to pick up your yarn at Riverlights book store. The link is http://www.eweneedyarn.com/.

Good luck!

Fiber Wild on Main St. in Galena sells yarn. http://www.fiberwild.com/
The site isn't much but the store has some nice yarn (kinda expensive). I usually buy my yarn at Hobby Lobby, though, due to financial constraints. However, their selection leaves something to be desired sometimes.
