Ramen Noodle Crunch (Trial & Error)

One idea for a snack food I have involves Ramen noodles, but I'v yet to have something that actually works. What I've done was that i soak the noodles in hot water (takes a few minuites) , cut them up so they won't be so long, mix it up with some flavoring (I think I'd used the flavor packets one time some Braggs the other),& put it in a baking pan & put in the toaster oven. the second time I tried it, it came out better than the first, but there's still got to be an easier way to make this. Any ideas are welcome!

Found this on another site:

2 packages of oriental ramen noodles
3/4 stick of Margarine
3 T sesame seeds
5 oz slivered almonds
& I like adding sunflower nuts

crush noodles in pack... take out seasoning pack.
Brown raw noodles in margarine till light brown.
They brown quick so keep stirring & watch!
add seeds & almond & brown to a richer brown.
Sprinkle 1 package of seasoning mix. (save the other for another time)
lightly keep browning for only about a min.
cool & ENJOY!!! Just try to keep your hands out of the bag!!!

I've tried it and it's easy and not bad!

wow, the butter-sesame-almond recipe sounds tasty, but so bad for you.     ramen noodles are already fried once for packaging and have twice the sat fat as the package says they do.

Yeah, I actually prefer Baking as the method for my crunch.

I came up with a variation of the crunch yesterday while i had a few of those new caramel-filled Hershey kisses & an opened bag of ramen noodles I had been snacking on earlier. Crunch up a Bag of ramen noodles & take some melted chocolate. Mix both & I'm thinking to form them into balls.

forevrbee, that sounds really weird and awesome. word up to your ramen fixation.

a healthier and maybe easier option might be to try getting fresh ramen or chow mein noodles in chinatown?

would this work with the thai ramen that is rice noodles? because my husband is allergic to wheat.
