I finished my first scarf this morning:

I knit this in about a week using size 17 needles and two skeins of Plymouth Handpainted yarn. I did a knit one, purl one rib.

This is the first FO for me, so I'm really excited!

Looks great, especially for a first scarf? Are you addicted to knitting now?

You do it to yourself, you do, and that's why it really hurts.

Don't you love the "Homygawd, I finished it!" feeling?  Grin

I did my first scarf on size 17s, too! But mine was really skinny and made with this odd ribbon/eyelash-esqu stuff.

*sigh* I need to find my huge-o purple needles and start up again with the scarf making. Yours looks nice and even, too. My first FO was all full of random fat, loose bits and holes and things.

Ok, I'm done reminiscing.

Don't you love that accomplished feeling?!? I just finished my first FINISHED scarf...I've never really finished anything!

Your colors are really pretty!
