Ok!  Our Halloween decorations for the year are finally up, we've been gradually adding random things each day, but I think I'm finally done, unless we find some good things on sale!  We've got a bunch of different things going on, but that only adds to the creepyness right?

Here's a closeup of the eyes on the Monster Door, I bought fur to make a monster wreath, but decided to go this route instead...

We thought that all the eyes, combined with the pumpkin below might deter the children from taking too much candy.

Cute monster pumpkin, he started out as something else, but turned into this.

Some other random stuff..

Happy Halloween!

Thanks everyone for the comments!

Basically all I did was get the supplies for a monster wreath (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=53867.0).  I got two packages of pingpong balls (12) , and a yard of orange fake fur (I couldn't find the long haired fur so it's the shorter kind).

I decided to make a door cover mostly because I got lazy and I thought that the wreath might be more tempting to steal.  I attached the eyes through the same monster wreath fashion, cutting slits and pushing the balls half through and then hot gluing (oh, after I painted on the pupils).  The center creepalicious eye is the domed plastic packaging cover that came with one of the halloween pumpkin lights.  It's just painted with acrilic paint--any strofoam ball, or paper bowl or something would work.  I would say it took about half an hour or so!

Hope this explains it a little-- Happy Halloween!
