Your file needs to be smaller than 75K.  So open up your pic in your photo editing software.  Then click on format and resize image.  You can both make the size of the pic smaller in dimension and decrease the resolution.  Then save, and you will have a much smaller file.

I read your manifestos and strange religious tracts.  You took me to your library and kissed me in the stacks.

Mine were also too big to upload through craftster, but there are many other sites that have free uploading. My favorite is through MSN messenger. You can post pictures on your profile and make many photo albums.

Alrighty, I cannot seem to change the size of my photo's. I have a Kodak digital and there is no Format button when I try to edit. I cannot upload it to craftster pic hosting because the file size is too big. Can anyone help me with this?

There should be a resize option somewhere in your photo editing software that will allow you to change the size.  You could also try saving the picture in .jpg or .gif format - sometimes the picture comes from the camera in a format that takes up a lot of disk space.

Oh, and when taking pictures, check to see if your camera has an option for changing picture quality - lower quality pictures will take up less space (and when viewing pictures on the web, the quality is not as important as it is when you're printing them).

Thanks!! I figured it out. I just started an account on Photobucket and copied the image over into the post.
