hehe, i got this photo album at Target on clearence. $4!! jsut cause the loop on the cover is ripped. nothing a glue gun and 5 seconds wont fix, lol. And i got these photos from the center for creative reuse in oakland. which is the coolest place ever! I got them months ago not knowing what to do with them, but knowing they would come in handy eventually. Sooo, i am putting together a cookbook with recipes i loved when i was little and some i like now. And i realized i could use the photo album to slide recipes in. i thought of using paint chips as the recipe cards, but i didnt like the result, then i remembered these photos! so here we go!

Oh my goodness. What a great idea you have given me. a friend of mine like to cook and is trying to lose weight. I was going to make her an apron and a cook book. I am going to make a cookbook like this with good stuff in it. OMG i love it I LOVE THE RANDOMNESS

Oh my!  It's so fantastic!  My friend got a box of random 60's photo-filled albums at a garage sale and has some great ones in there.  I'm going to send her the link to this idea, because she'll love having something new to do with them.  Otherwise, she's felt limited to greeting cards with attempts at witty sayings.  I think this will make us all happier!

that reminds me of these father and daughter duo organist band who tour around the country singing songs about their random slideshow - (family name? - can't think of it)Slideshow Experiment. They were on Conan a while back, it was really creative just like what you made Smiley That store sounds awesome. I wish there was one over here, it beats looking through a dumpster and rummaging through attics of Hidden Treasures estate sales  Cry
