Hey, while I'm at it, I might as well post the shoes I sent to remisica.  US to Singapore in less than a week!  Go, Global Priority Mail (and that flat-rate envelope!).
I guess you could call them re-Cons, but they're not really Cons (they're from Target).

The squigglies are one continuous line (well, one on each shoe), which continues around the back and turns into the ankh on the "outsides."  The toes have clear microbeads stuck in silver paint, and are covered in polyurethane because I'm paranoid.  The strip around the bottom/the wrap-around part of the sole is all silver, too, and I made the purple stripe into black (the way it should have been in the first place).

Thanks!  The clear microbeads over silver paint made a really glittery look.  Actually, almost more like reflective material.  As for the one line... well, I'm not saying I didn't put the paintbrush down and come back to it more than once (especially on the 2nd coats)!   Wink

Everyone has received fabulous things in this swap  =)  I received a fantastic bag from sewberrycrazy.  It's gorgeous and I love it to pieces  =)  It's made from a velvet blazer and has a purple cordouroy lining.  It's very snuggly =)  I'll add pictures as soon as I can.

Oh yay!!  I'm so glad it arrived safe and sound, and that you like it.  I was a little worried since it's not exactly your typical messenger bag.

I received the GREATEST ties today from Sharla.  THANK YOU SO MUCH Sharla!!!!   They are EXACTLY what I was looking for, and I think I have enough now to finish off my supply for this bag by rickrackruby. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=45985.0

They couldn't have come at a better time....   funds are tight, so my thrift shopping has had to stop for a little while.   But, now I will be able to make the bag anyway!!!   YAY!!!!   I can't wait to get started!

THANKS AGAIN Sharla!!!!
