I made this a few months back, but thought I would post anyway.

I didn't like the designs offered in the book so just graphed out a simple star to intarsia on there.

Out of all my knitted creations, this one gets the most compliments from total strangers.

when looking thru the book for the first time, i thought of the exact pattern,  i didn't really dig any of the pictured ones, glad to see how it looks completed!

I love when I get random compliments on stuff I've made from strangers.  Yeah that might sound lame but it makes me feel like I actually did a good job.

There is something very appealing about that pattern. The shape and size are perfect. At first just thinking about sewing all of the individual pieces together and having to add a lining made me hesitate. But I absolutely think this pattern is worth it. I made the monkey one and posted it in an older thread a long time ago. You did a great job on graphing the star.
