I would..only that the paint started cracking off around where the boot needs to bend.  You can kinda see it.

The boots were terribly uncomfortable after I painted them...I just used regular spray paint but I guess I should have used something more flexible.  They started cracking around the feet right after I put them on and walked a bit.

i'm a bit late too...though i have to post pix, b/c i didn't get to wear my costume too much...
i was the tooth fairy. i made a tu-tu (sp??), and a sequined outlined tooth for my top, i made jewelry from toothbrushes, floss, and those metal coin belly dancing charms. i even made a tooth shaped purse. (none of which show up well in the pictures).

i wanted to wear the wig (since my hair is normally blond) but all my friends insisted the toothfairy is a blond--which i guess is particularly why i wanted to wear the wig!






(i live in hawaii, which is why it seems to sunny for halloween--i wish we had more seasonal changes...i miss crispy colorful leaves underfoot on halloween!)

This is my sisters and me. I was a fairy princess (I made the wings, wand and hairpiece and have amazing fairy princess amkeup that you can't see in any of the pictures we took) My youngest sister as christine form Phantom (I made the dress out of a mid 90s highschool semiformal number) and Cait... she was an old man. But she's always been the weird one.

Ok better late than never.  This is my halloween costume from this year.  I was Mia Wallace after the overdose complete with the needle in the chest.  I used black pants and a whit shirt I already had, and mad the corset type thing with an existing bra, and some black and white material leftover from a dress recon.

too bad I forgot to put the sleeves down in the picture, the shirt has french cuffs just like in the movie.

Hope I posted the photos right, this is my first post.  The costume was a hit.  everyone recognized me almost immediately, and all were amazed at the needle in my chest.

This year's Halloween parade: Big scary monster, Li'l Scream and paper doll (outright thievery from paperthinwalls on p9 of the post your best costume thread.  Thanks, doll!)  For t.o.t'ing we put a graduation gown on the giant and pinned his hands up so that my son had his hands free for holding candy.  He was zipped up in the gown and could see out of a slit in the gown so he looked more like a giant monster than a kid walking down the street with a giant monster on his back.
