as an anatomy geek myself (I crocheted a human heart), I would like to congratulate you.
My ultimate goal is to construct one of those "take apart" educational aids entirely out of yarn.  Perhaps you could join me? Smiley

Now, my story begins in nineteen-dickety-two. We had to say "dickety" 'cause the Kaiser had stolen our word "twenty". I chased that rascal to get it back, but gave up after dickety-six miles

Absolutely incredible.

Wow.

That pattern needs to be published and sold in kits at every medical, nursing, and health careers school bookstore.

And you need to do a series of them with other systems and anatomy structures.

Beautifully absurd! Or absurdly beautiful. Either way, I'd never have the patience to come up with something so....educational Smiley
