This is fantastic and amazing! Having just finished with the GI tract in anatomy lab I have to say yours is way cuter than the real thing!!!
(you must have the patience of a saint to knit all that length, too!)

As someone who just was diagnosed with IBS, after a NASTY colonoscopy, I have to say:  BRAVO!  Love the innards as outerwear!

And yes, it could be knitted for a cause:  Colon cancer.  Katie Couric would be ALL over it!!

those are by far the prettiest knitted internal organs i've ever seen.  my roommate has ulcerative colitis (colon ulcer), so now i can knit her a new colon!

I know a lot of people are interested in the pattern but I really need to proofread/beta test it before I can expect anybody else to be able to make it.

Soooo, how about a knit-along?  I could post sections of the pattern along with progress photos as I complete version 2.0, maybe 2-3 installments a week.

Anyone up for it?
