Okay, I've entered two entries to a tshirt design contest, and I'm working on a third. It's of an owl that I created (then touched up) using only letters of the same font (I forget which font) for my graphic design class last year.

The problem is, I don't want just the owl on the tshirt. I was hoping to find some sort of slogan or saying that would fit well and is clever/cute. Maybe something along the lines of, "Give a hoot - give your fellow man the one-finger salute!" or something like that??  Huh

This is the image:

Any ideas? Suggestions? Criticisms? Heeeeeelp.

Note: I'm placing the owl at the bottom of the tshirt design, so feet aren't necessary.  Cheesy

Does it have to be an original saying?

Something about being a night owl maybe?

How about a quote?

I'm very into owl images at the moment.
How about playing on the word "I'll"?
You could have something like, "Owl be back!" or "Owl be thinking of you", or change the All in the song lyric "All along the watchtower" to "Owl along the watchtower" or perhaps "Owl day and owl night"( I think that's The Easybeats song- All day and all of the night?)

something like "contrary to whinny the pooh(tm) we can't all be college professors" although i'm unsure if using that title would be an infringement on rights

Ooh...
joyflea, thanks for the ideas.

And poo head, I'm not too sure about infrigements, but I'm gonna play it safe (and not to mention respectful!) and not use it. But thanks though!  Grin

Unfortunately the t-shirt contest is up and I obviously didn't win.. but I can still use it for my cafepress.  Wink

Haha, oh, no no. Please don't take it that I took it as offensive (if that makes sense? I'm tired, haha.) Don't apologize! I just have a guilty conscious about all of that stealing-ideas stuff because I'm striving to be a graphic designer.  Roll Eyes Again, it's okay! It IS a cute saying and if I were to make it just for a shirt to wear or something... I'd honestly probably use it for at least one of 'em.

o rly

looks more like ya rly to me Wink  I'm not even sure you need a quote, though. I think the shirt would look good with just the owl.
