hi there.
i can't help with an actual pattern but this is what i did to make cholis for dance performances.
i thrifted some of those indian ensembles, the kind that have a tunic type dress  and baggy maching pants. sorry i don't know the name for them. but where i live there are lots in value village , some that are really flashy and beaded. i just cut it off under the bust and sewed in elastic. you could make it more fitted by adding darts or whatever. i don't know if that helps but there you have it!

A good friend of mine gave me all these sarees she doesn't wear including some brand new saree fabric she's never done anything with. I was thinking of making the choli for it and wearing it, it's so nice. I was going to give it back to her as a gift or something, but I just learned this afternoon that she really doesn't like that fabric Cheesy
