The project: Make something new out of recycled materials. Tin cans, shampoo bottles, old greeting cards, etc. If it's "junk" it's fair game! Naturally some components might be new (like glue or paint) but try to use as much "post-consumer" waste as possible.

I got a drink cozy  knit from scrap yarn, beer bottle cap magnets, a flower pin, fabric swatches and some other goodies.  Cool! Smiley

I got mine!  A super cool Mr Potato Head purse, an aolcd mosaic box, and a monogrammed box (done in chocolate wrappers)!

well, seems im not getting mine as its been three weeks, but what upsets me more if that i havent heard if my swappee liked, or even got, what i sent  Undecided

Well, I think my swappee must have gotten his package by now, but I havent' heard from him.  Anyway, here's what I sent.

It's a wallet made out of junk mail (ala comic book wallet) it has slots for bills and 4 credit cards.

I was waiting for my swappee to acknowledge receipt of my package, but since it has been weeks and no word ... well at least I know she got it from the package tracking confirmation.

Thanks! Smiley  I used acrylic gel medium to glue the stamps on the coin purse and seal them.  It holds up pretty well if you put on a few extra coats.

.. and your wallet rocks!! I love it! ... and that Mr. Potato Head purse is also fab!

missy, the stamps were attached with acrylic gel medium and the purse is made from a lucky charm's cereal box and clear tape. Smiley
