Backstory: I loves me some "Invader Zim." Especially Gir. I also taught myself how to knit a few years ago, but only started really enjoying it after I discovered the Stitch n' Bitch books. Anyroads, I really liked the patterns for the monkey and bunny backpacks, but it needed something more . . . something Gir. So I took out the bunny picture in the pattern and formatted Gir's head to go where the bunny head had gone before. It took some creativity (I couldn't find my graph paper, so I ended up just drawing a grid pattern in the same size as the bunny pattern had been, then holding the paper over my computer screen and tracing Gir's head onto the pattern. I then made him blocky to fit the pattern, colour-coding as I went). This was my first non-garter-stitch-scarf-lame-thing I'd ever made, and I think it came out pretty good!  Wink

His head does look kinda big, doesn't it?

It looks like a kid's backpack.

I'm glad you guys like it! If anyone would like, I could post the pattern I made up. The grid scanned a little light, but it's still definitely workeable.
