So my boyfriend had a sold-out show at this huge theatre, and to celebrate I decided to get him flowers, and then I realized that was expensive and not at all original.  So I thought, what's better than a dozen flowers?  A boquet of his favorite locally made chocolate peanut butter bars that LOOKS like a boquet of flowers!
Ingredients:
-A dozen chocolate Peanut Butter Bars
-A dozen kebob skewers
-A bunch of silk flowers, taken off a lei
-Superglue
-Scotch tape
This is a really easy project.  I just bought a dozen chocolate bars, and then glued silk flowers that I took off a lei (flat is better to glue and pack into a boquet in my opinion) to each bar (WHICH IS STILL IN ITS WRAPPER), about seven or eight flowers a bar.  While I was waiting for that to dry, I painted a dozen kebob skewers green.  Once both mini-projects dried, I taped the kebob skewers to the chocolate bar wrappers.  Then, I pulled the skewers out, squirted glue into the hole where the skewer was, and re-inserted the skewer.  That way, it never moves.  Wait for everything to dry, and voila, a beeeautiful boquet! I simply tied it with gold ribbon, as you can see.

That is so cool, and a brilliant idea. What did your boyfriend think of them?

That's a great idea! I was going to do something similar for my Dad when he has surgery in December, only more of a "cookie bouquet"-he's just not a flowers in a vase type of person.

What a creative and lovely idea! I'm so glad your boyfriend liked it - I know I'd be tickled pink if someone did that for me.
