I thought I'd post this little book I made last weekend.  it's about four and a half by five and a half inches and has seven signatures, the first and last signatures being single-sheet mulberry paper sigs that I laminated together after sewing the book and then laminated into the covers after I had cased the book in.

my photos are a little yellow - sorry about that.  the following images are clickable thumbnails, so if you want a bigger image, just click it.

cover detail.  I used embossed paper for the spine, which was kind of hard to work with, but I like the result:

and there you have it!  any constructive criticisms would be great - I know that since it's my own work I'll see more flaws than others probably do, but feel free to point anything out.  thanks for looking!

oooh... gorgeous work!  I love the rich colors of text papers (what is that brown?  is it like a lokta or something?) and the textures of the cover paper and spine.  wonderful first flatback!  I still think they're the hardest.

hehe, thanky!  the brown paper is actually kraft paper... not the best to use in a long-term type thing, but I had it, I liked it, so I used it.   Cheesy
