Okay, this is my first time organizing, and the deadline is tomorrow...four people haven't really talked to me since the beginning week of the swap, and I've tried to get ahold of them. I was going to wait until after tomorrow to give them negative feedback, so I will do that if they don't communicate with me...but when will I know if I need swap angels? Should I wait a little while and see? or start asking after tomorrow? And when I put negative feedback for the people who don't communicate with me, how does their issue get resolved? ESPECIALLY if I end up getting swap angels in place of them? Just how does that work?...What's great is that two people were in a chain swap, so if they end up not sending, I can just link the next person with the person ahead of them or something...I'm kinda beginning not to like the chain swap thing though - I only made 2 chains this swap the rest were one on one.

if the send date is tommorrow, tell the people who were supposed to send to them to wait!

send out a PM giving them a deadline of midnight tommorrow. if they don't get back to you, give them negative feedback, and have their partner send to someone else.

if a few of them eventually get back to you, you can change their feedback to positive and add that they had poor communication.

i wait until about a week after the send date to start looking for angels, but that's just me.

i've never really been clear on how it's resolved either, but people so rarely want to resolve their feedback that i don't think it's been an issue. it's too easy to just create a new username, wait a month, and start over. that's why i wish we still had the bad swappers list with their full name and address, because it helps to cut down on the same flaker using multiple names - i caught someone trying to sign up under a new name once when we still had that list, so i'm sure it's happening now.

i've never had it happen, but i think i would just have them send to the angel to resolve their negative feedback. that makes the most sense to me.

oh ok. That does make more sense. One person is in a three person chain, so one person already sent to another...and the person who is getting flaked on wanted to send to the person that sent to her anyway, so if the other person doesn't communicate with me, then I am thinking that I could just tell that person to send to the other? But then if the flaker wants to resolve feedback, I guess I could tell them to send to me to get the issue resolved? Right? And I'm thinking there may be a few people who have sent but forgot to PM...so I guess I will wait a week too. I was thinking of waiting until November 1st anyway.

Thanks so much!

the day after the sent date, i usually send a PM reminding everyone to send me their DC#s. you can totally still do that, and give them a deadline. i find people really respond to deadlines!
